Madison, Mattison, Matteson, Vermont to Iowa

a Descendant
Today after working two hours in the yard, I came in to give my shoulder a break.
Guess what I found on Ancestry.com? Actual physical records confirming what I learned in Grand Rapids, MI last spring regarding my GGGrandmother Susan Madison Jones. She was married to Noyes Jones.
Amazing totally amazing Susan's parents are buried in Lapeer Co. MI.
Even finding records verifying her parents and her Grandparents in VT records. About 40 years of digging, and finally they surface. First thanks to the DAR people at Grand Rapids event.
Not finding proof I was about to give up that they were the right people.

Susan Madison married Noyes JONES somewhere in Mount Holyoke, Mass 1832 . In family papers inherited by family. Grandaughter had the papers. She died and I have no contact her kin. Another cousin shared the information with me.
