His ancestresses were Josian Grey JONES who when Christopher died married the man who bought her husbands fleet and moved to America.
worked in ship yards and some records said he had largest fleet of ships in world at the time of his demiss when Christopher Jones son took over the business. English records
His Mom's line was from the Mattison's of VT and other places. Just learned new information and anxious to learn more.
Thanks to his Mom's brother who came to live near them in Iowa for a time.
