Yesterday, a cousin in Iowa posted a picture of Fred's Grandfather making hay in 1923.
Fred said he remembers he came by in a car once and tossled the top of his head and he was small.
He has no other recollection of him ever. No idea what he looked like or who he really was.
It was very hard to see Grandad Frank Pentico's face with him on the machinery in the field.
Today cousin Dick Thomas, shared a picture of this gentleman full face. Amazing, totally amazing
how much my husband resembles his Grandfather. I am sure the children will see the resemblance
quickly.
A synopsis of his family:

Howard died in Italy during WW11.
Our trip to Iowa in 1970, we meet the living siblings of his Father's family. We also met many cousins.
Frank and Sarah ultimately parted. When I met family no one would say where Fred's Grandfather may be. They did not appear to have knowledge. We knew his Grandmother was gone. Sarah died in 1957.
For our children and kin to see I am sharing this information and the pictures cousin Dick Thomas has shared. BilliJo was to small to remember the trip and Alan did not yet exist. Ed, Don and Candy you should be able to remember some of the trip.
Franklin Andrew Pentico,
Grandad Art's Father,
Fred, Jim, Mary and Shirley's Grandfather.
