Abraham Jr, is the son of his father Abraham Young Sr  his mother was Hannah WRIGHT.

The young man was a seasoned CW Veteran. with an interesting story of survival, losing his brother in Tennessee on the campaign.

Calvin Fay Jones b 15 May 1843 Rensselaer Co. NY, believed to have lived on Jones Rd in Jones Hollow in Petersburg, NY with his parents whom migrated to Illinois then after the War to Iowa.
He is a descendant of Silas Jones Sr and Susannah Sweet Jones.

They had 6 living children.

His Descendant Susan C. Jones chose 5 July 1959 to marry Fred E Pentico in the Catholic Church, Sunnyvale, CA.  He was a career Navy man. They had 5 living children and are celebrating their 55th Wedding Anniversary today.

Calvin was my Grandfather Carl F Jones father and my Dad's Grandfather.  He raised horses and had walnut groves that he sold for gun stocks for the Army I am told. His home is still standing in Iowa, at least was when picture taken 3 years ago.

When learning of their wedding date, I understood why I had chosen that day for ours.  I wish I could have known him.
